Relocating to San Francisco

Life update: I’m moving to San Francisco!

I’ll be relocating to San Francisco to begin the Graduate Certificate Program in Cyber Security at Stanford University. The program starts in September and I expect to compete the graduate certificate within three academic quarters (slightly less than one calendar year). This program will enable me to sharpen my cyber security skills with respect to network security and cryptography in addition to glean a better understanding of the relationship between information security and national security interests.

The road trip to San Francisco from West Virginia begins today. The planned 10 day journey will cover 13 states and 10 state capitals over 3,000 miles (I’m not going the most direct route). While I’m looking forward to exploring the midwest during this cross-continent traverse, I’m certainly excited about what San Francisco has to offer!
